- Chris served at Shinfield Park from 1966 to her discharge on marriage in March 1968.
- She died of a heart attack in November 2021.
- Though we were married while we were stationed at SP, we were divorced in 1986.
- She remarried and her name was changed to Gallichan.
David emailed further on 20 Mar 2022.
- Chris’s first posting was RAF Spitalgate for basic training and then to HQFTC in early 1966.
- She was an SACW Shorthand Typist starting work in the typing pool and then on to work as the Secretary to the AO Eng until HQFTC closed.
- She worked at the camp as a civilian from March 1968. She was always known as Chris as she did not like her original first name.
- We married in February 1968, and lived in Reading for a short while until my posting to RAF Biggin Hill.
