Greg North sent this email on May 7th 2024. He describes visiting the RAF White Waltham site.

  • I was in Maidenhead this morning to collect a package and wandered down to WW to have lunch and visit the antique/junk yard.
  • It transpired that the cafe had been closed and a third of the tenants evicted. Further evictions will take place along with demolition of the site to prepare for the building of 54 houses.
  • For anyone who wants a last look, don't leave it too long.
  • I took photos of the buildings and blocks should anyone want them.
